Getting ready for the Eldorado Studio Tour

Sunset behind the studio.Linda is starting this new chapter with a gratitude to the allies in Colorado who helped her to build a business, to build artistic confidence over the years, and to pull off the move and transition to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Thank you Jimmy Sellars, Rodney Briggs, Janet Russell, and countless friends and collectors.

The Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association runs the oldest and largest studio tour in the Santa Fe area. You won't believe the caliber of art in this tour. Over 100 artists at 79 studios are participating.

New friends and old friends are combining efforts to sustain and enliven the tour. The quality of art and the quality of the inspiration of the land and light is off the charts. Linda and Cynthia bought 2 paintings and 2 sculptures at last years show to help to design and settle into their new environment.

Linda has been painting and volunteering to help make this an excellent adventure for artists and collectors. The tour is so well organized, it is a pleasure to prepare for it. The Sabbatical Lasted Longer than Expected

View from the studioAfter the Spark Gallery Show and the January Moving and Clearance Sale, it was fast forward to stage the Louisville Studio and home and get it on the market. On April 25th, Armantrout Studio moved to the Eldorado Community southeast of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Spring and Summer’s energy went into creating the perfect home and studio/gallery in the High Desert of Santa Fe County. Linda will be posting some of the art highlights of summer in Santa Fe on her Armantrout Studio Page on Facebook. Many events sustained Linda as an artist, and directed her back into her studio practice in September. Watch Facebook for discounts and events this Fall and Winter. After 48 years of fun and after 43 years of doing business in the great state of Colorado, Linda Armantrout will be moving her wonderful Life and her business to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Spark Gallery Show Gratitude

The Spark Gallery Show closed on December 9th. Thanks to Spark and Sally Elliot and Jennifer Parisi for a wonderful 6 weeks. Thanks to friends and new and previous collectors for the energy you brought to the gallery.

Linda was able to create the perfect container for "Messengers, Guides, and Protectors". The show was well received by friends and strangers. People connected to Linda's content and understood the work. Many connections were made...artist to viewer and viewer to paintings. A perfect career high.

Armantrout in the North Gallery at Spark, November 15th -December 9th

Through the VeilA show of  Armantrout's recent paintings, “Messengers, Guides, and Protectors” , will be at Spark Gallery  in the North Gallery on November 15 - December 9, 2018.

Closing Coffee: Sunday, December 9, 1 - 4 pm

These images are invitations to look beyond the brushstrokes, colors, and shapes to a deeper mystery and meaning. Perhaps, you will find your messenger, guide, or protector there.
